This is
probably a really late post about my trip to Victor Harbor, but I'm glad I
finally took some time off to write about it. This beautiful seaside resort
town was all the way down south of Adelaide. So, we drove for about an hour but, thankfully, the weather was perfect! Although it did take an incredible amount of time to get there, it was such a relaxing drive, plus the view along
the way was breathtaking.
I was so
excited to wear my “secondhand” leather jacket, which was, to be honest, such a
great deal for its quality. It has a thermal feature, so it was more than I
bargained for.
I also matched this H&M
dress with my excessively worn Rubi sneakers. Typical of me
to go for a simple and casual look when going out. The best part of my outfit has to be the hastag beanie from one of my top personal favorite retail stores, Cotton On.
One of the main attractions was the Granite Island known by
the clan, Ramindjeri,
as 'Nulcoowarra”. You could either walk a fair distance across the
causeway or take the horse drawn tram. We preferred to walk, so we could take
some time to watch the scenery. If you’re lucky, you’d even spot a few seals or
penguins!
We went up the Kaiki Walk, which was a 1.5 km in length walk and takes approximately
40 minutes to complete. Hopefully, I would be able to
go back and finish that
walk to see all the sides of the island.
